Jeffrey Brown Mountain Biker

About Me

My name is Jeff Brown, and I’ve been living on the road full-time, traveling the U.S. by van and documenting the best mountain bike rides, trail systems, and bike-friendly towns I find along the way. Best Mountain Bike Rides grew out of that lifestyle: real rides, real travel experience, and a goal of helping other mountain bikers find the places that are truly worth building a trip around.

When I’m not riding, I’m usually exploring the same outdoor towns in a different way: hiking local trails, stand up paddleboarding nearby lakes and rivers, searching out dispersed camping spots, or learning about the unique history and culture that make each place different. I’m especially drawn to small outdoor towns with a strong sense of place, good coffee, local character, and easy access to adventure.

I’m also the owner of Web Asheville, a web development company that works with small businesses to build better websites, improve their online presence, and grow in a way that feels practical and authentic. This site brings a lot of those worlds together: mountain biking, travel, photography, web design, and a deep appreciation for the communities that make these trail towns special.
